Pupils will develop skills in drawing, painting, collage, sculpting and many styles of art, inspired by a wide variety of international artists such as Hockney, Tim Joel, Picasso, Dana Mulder, W.L. Wyllie, Paul Klee and more. Art sessions over the course of the week, will use a wide variety of media and cover something from the land - plants and animals, the sea and beach, sky and universe, abstract and imagination, including foil fish, quirky cats, foam clay cacti, cubist semi-abstract cartoons, boats on the beach, slimy seaweeds and pretty flowers. Due to longer sessions needed to complete artwork, pupils attending should have a good level of interest and the ability to sit and focus in class please, although mini-movement breaks will be included. (Outdoor play is not permitted due to safety issues).
