Terms & Conditions

DROP OFF AND COLLECTION For all classes and clubs please buzz in at the Warren Road entrance gate 5 minutes before classes start, to enable a prompt start. Adults attending evening classes should proceed around to the RHS to the HUB training centre. Parents bringing children to art classes should bring pupils in to the main reception at Warren Road entrance, where Mrs G will collect and return children (holiday clubs tend to be in a Y3 room, ASC rooms vary). Year 6 children, if agreed with the parent/carer, may arrive independently.  Late comers may have to call Mrs G and wait for help/collection, or they can be admitted by Beyond after school club and make their way to class themselves if they know the way already. Please note that childcare fees of £8 per 15mins may apply after 15 minutes late for collection.

PAYMENT, FEES & REFUNDS

FEES for Art with Mrs G are payable in full, in advance. Refunds will only be given until 1 week before, given that spaces held will be hard to fill at that late point. If the attendee becomes ill or misses a session for some reason, refunds will not be available. All monies are managed by Mrs Gallagher and fees must be paid to secure a place in sessions. Failure to do so may result in the space being offered up to a person on the waiting list.

ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR

At Art with Mrs G we expect the same standard of behaviour as we do in any public place or educational environment. Any adult will be asked to leave immediately, or a child to collected, should they have behaved inappropriately in endangering the safety and care of other children or staff, or if their behaviour becomes such that it affects Mrs G’s ability to continue effectively teaching the session. Mrs Gallagher reserves the right to consider immediate exclusion of a child or adult from the class and they not be readmitted to future sessions of Art with Mrs G.  Adults and assistants in charge of children will undertake to conduct themselves in a manner that is mindful of the presence of children.

All attendees should be encouraged to take care of their own personal belongings and refrain from bringing unnecessary items into the setting. Mrs Gallagher cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to any of their belongings.

ARRANGEMENTS IN CASE OF SICKNESS OR EMERGENCY

Mrs Gallagher does not accept attendees who are unwell and expects adults/parents/carers to inform her on the day (or sooner) if someone will not be attending. If a child becomes unwell during their art course, she will contact the parent/carer at the earliest opportunity and arrangements must be made to collect the child as soon as possible. Mrs G has undertaken appropriate first aid training to deal with an emergency. While every attempt will be made to contact you there may be a situation when it is deemed necessary for Mrs Gallagher to administer basic first aid (of which a written record will be kept) and in an emergency call the emergency services.

LIABILITY & SAFEGUARDING

Art with Mrs G is fully insured for running art sessions and has data protection, risk assessment and safeguarding policies in place, which you may request to see at any time. Mrs G has an enhanced DBS check and qualified teacher status. If attendees give permission for photos to be taken, their identify will be protected and photos suitably discrete – as far as possible the back of heads.

Information held by Mrs G regarding children will be treated as confidential. However, in certain circumstances, for example if there are child protection concerns, Mrs G has a legal duty to pass certain information onto external agencies.

If a complaint is raised, it is always our intention to sort out any concerns through informal discussions.

Adults/parents/carers undertake to inform Mrs Gallagher of any changes in circumstances relating to the above or anything that may affect pupils while they are attending sessions of Art with Mrs G.

When completing your booking, you agree to meet the terms and conditions of Mrs Gallagher’s Art Club
